퇴계 이황의 『성학십도』와 스피노자의 『윤리학』을 주요 이론적 토대로 삼아, 감정 그 자체의 본성과 감정에 대한 타당한 인식으로서의 '감정의 자기 이해'를 연구합니다. 이를 감정과학(Science of Feelings)의 관점에서 예술학, 사회심리학, 한류문화학을 비롯한 다양한 현대 학문과 교차하여 문화·예술·심리·사회·치유, 그리고 인간과 세계를 탐구합니다.

이러한 학문적 탐구는 PROJECT X를 통해 연구와 실천으로 확장됩니다. ART LAB X는 관찰·분석·큐레이팅·전시로, SYMPOSIUM X는 사유·연구·발표·토론으로 연구를 확장하며, SEMINAR X와 Field Trip X는 대화와 경험을 통해 새로운 질문과 문화교차적 관점을 형성합니다.

My research takes Toegye Yi Hwang's Ten Diagrams on Sage Learning and Spinoza's Ethics as major theoretical foundations for investigating the nature of feeling itself and the self-understanding of feeling as a valid understanding of feeling. Grounded in the Science of Feelings, this inquiry intersects with art studies, social psychology, Hallyu studies, and other contemporary fields to explore culture, art, psychology, society, healing, humanity, and the world.

This academic inquiry extends into research and practice through PROJECT X. ART LAB X develops research through observation, analysis, curating, and exhibition; SYMPOSIUM X develops it through thinking, research, presentation, and discussion; and SEMINAR X and Field Trip X generate new questions and X-Cultural perspectives through dialogue and experience.
